Once the boss of a gang, Lukka had countless enemies. To run away from them, he regained youth through a forbidden trick and spent a large sum of money hiring the Nirvanians, who planed to prolong his life through a special spell.

Bearman Hank used to be a member of a mercenary group Wild Bears, which was, however, almost completely destroyed in a battle against the Shadows in the Red Desert. That was the most enjoyable and fierce battle Hank had ever had, and he was ready to meet his brothers in another world.

Right at that moment, he was found by the Nirvanians. As humanoid Gyees contain huge life energy, the Nirvanians made Hank the life donor of Lukka, who, however, couldn't bear to take all of Hank's life energy and stopped the ceremony halfway. Although Hank had a narrow escape, his life has been linked to Lukka's.

Lukka failed to prolong his life while Hank failed to meet his brothers. What's worse, they must stay together all the time. Even a short distance can kill them both. Lukka regretted his mercy, while Hank blamed Lukka for keeping him alive. He once tried committing suicide, but it turned out Lukka would also be injured when he was hurt.

Hank was too kind to kill Lukka, and Lukka was also suffering because he could no longer live the life he had lived, thanks to Hank's huge body. After Hank destroyed Lukka's house by sitting on it, Lukka had to build a new home on this big guy's shoulder.

That's how the two of them started a journey to find a way to separate themselves.
